Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi praised forward Joaquin Correa for his outstanding performance in their 5-0 victory over Hellas Verona on November 23, 2024. Correa, who made his first start of the season, scored a goal and provided two assists, stepping in for the absent Lautaro Martinez. Inzaghi highlighted Correa’s hard work since June and expressed his happiness for the player’s success.
Correa scored in the 17th minute with a chipped finish after a precise pass from Marcus Thuram. He then set up Thuram to double the lead in the 22nd minute and later assisted Yann Bisseck for Inter’s fifth goal before halftime.
